Terms of Service

Pausa is a SaaS platform that enables restaurants to offer digital ordering and payments to their customers via QR codes. Accessing and using the platform implies acceptance of these terms.

To use Pausa you must be at least 18 years old and legally represent your restaurant. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your access credentials.

Use of the platform is free. Pausa charges a 0.5% commission on each completed order, plus card processing fees charged by Stripe. There are no monthly fees or fixed costs.

Payments are processed via Stripe Connect. To collect payments, you must connect a Stripe account and accept the Stripe Terms of Service. Pausa does not store payment card data.

As a restaurant using Pausa you agree to:

• Keep menu information up to date and accurate
• Fulfil received orders within reasonable timeframes
• Handle refunds diligently when applicable
• Comply with applicable health and tax regulations
• Not use the platform for illegal or fraudulent activities

Pausa provides the platform "as is". We are not liable for lost profits, business interruptions or other indirect damages arising from the use or inability to use the service. Our maximum liability is limited to fees collected in the 3 months preceding the damaging event.

You can cancel your account at any time from the settings panel or by contacting us. Cancellation is immediate and incurs no additional charge. You have 30 days to export your data before it is permanently deleted.

These terms are governed by Spanish law and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Any dispute shall be submitted to the courts of Spain, unless applicable consumer regulations establish another jurisdiction.

We may update these terms with 30 days' notice by email. Continued use of the platform after that period implies acceptance of the new terms.
