The data controller for your personal data is Pausa, contactable at privacidad@pausa.app.

We collect the following data:

• Email address (required for registration)
• Restaurant name and contact information
• Payment information managed by Stripe (we never store card data)
• Platform usage data (orders, menus, statistics)
• Technical and analytical cookies (with your consent)

We process your data to:

• Manage your account and restaurant on the platform
• Process payments via Stripe Connect
• Send order receipts and service communications
• Improve the platform through statistical analysis
• Comply with legal obligations

Processing is based on: (a) the performance of a contract with you; (b) compliance with legal obligations; (c) your explicit consent for cookies and marketing communications; and (d) our legitimate interest in improving the service.

We share data with the following processors:

• Supabase — database infrastructure and authentication
• Stripe — payment processing
• Resend — transactional email delivery
• Vercel — platform hosting

All providers are subject to EU standard contractual clauses or equivalent mechanisms for international transfers.

Some data may be transferred outside the EEA. These transfers are carried out using standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission or other GDPR-compliant adequacy mechanisms.

We retain your data for as long as you maintain an active account. Once the account is cancelled, data is deleted within 90 days, except for data that must be retained by law (up to 5 years for billing data under Spanish tax regulations).

You have the right to access, rectify, erase, object to processing and request portability of your data. To exercise these rights, contact us at privacidad@pausa.app or use the data deletion form. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (aepd.es).

We use essential cookies for platform functionality and, with your consent, analytical cookies to improve the service. You can withdraw consent at any time by clearing cookies in your browser.
